Spiritual Practices - Individual & Group Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Practices - for Individuals & Groups As we enter into a new age of technology, it is becoming more and more important that we connect together spiritually. As we explore this brave new post co-vid world we seek to find God in the midst of adversity and opposition to his Son Jesus Christ who died for us on the Cross. Tonight explore how we can connect Individually and as a group through the medium of Spiritual Direction. Identifying how Spiritual Direction can help us become better connected to God, to his word and to our neighbour. As you contemplate our fifth and final session on Spiritual Practices this Easter season spend some time contemplating in prayer how you may celebrate living in and through the Holy Spirit a more confident, Christ centered and Resurrected living faith for Jesus Christ Today. Faith & Fitness as One - Easter Workout - Dawn of the Day - Day Thirty Eight
Today is the day in the Church calendar year when we celebrate the Risen Jesus. He is Risen. He is Risen Indeed! We are so grateful to encounter Jesus in such an intimate and personal level at Easter that when we surrender our lives to Jesus, decide to pick up our Cross and follow him we can truly repent, believe and become devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Christ died for us so that we may have eternal life. It is the priceless gift which exists in the present, but is outside of time. As our Father in Heaven looks down upon us this Easter day he sees our mere humanity, sent his one and only begotten son to save us and save us again. Through time, past, present and future Jesus is able to demonstrate his omnipresence to us and to develop a continuous resurrected power that is alive to each and everyone of us. The same power that rose Christ from the grave is available, alive and accessible to each and everyone of us today. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever! He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! Today you and can make a new start. A fresh start. Its simple; if you believe in your heart that Jesus died, was resurrected and sacrificed for all believers, like you and me, you can have hope for the future. Many people have said a prayer like this throughout time and history. This prayer was for them and this prayer is also for you. You can say it silently in your heart, aloud after me or just agree by acknowledging in mind or word by declaring in agreement with me by saying “in Jesus name. Amen.” Closing Prayer. Let us Pray… Sacrificial and Gracious Jesus, bring us out of the depths of our flesh, restore our consciousness and release us into divine communion and intimate fellowship with your Holy Spirit as we pray in agreement that you died, raised us with you into eternal life and prepared a mansion for us with God in heaven. In your name we pray. Amen. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV #faith #fitness #asone #forgiveness #salvation #prayer #easter #jesus #hehasrisen #christ hehasrisenindeed #jesussaves #faithinjesuschrist

Free & Fit Holy Week - Easter Dawn - Romans 10:8-10 - Forgiveness & Salvation Prayer
He is Risen! He is RISEN INDEED! As part of our Pilot Faith & Fitness curriculum we must not forget to offer our participants the opportunity to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through the simplicity of the Forgiveness and Salvation Prayer we can invite all people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Verses for Forgiveness 1 John 1:8-10 (NIV) If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. Prayer for Forgiveness Heavenly Father, O Lord Almighty, hear my prayer. I have a burden on my heart, a sin to confess. For I am human and sinful and don’t always live up to who you want me to be. I come before you today with a humble heart to confess the mistakes I’ve made, both by what I’ve done and by what I haven’t done. O Lord, hear my prayer and forgive my failings. Lead me to do better and not repeat these mistakes. Help me to live a life that better reflects you. For you are faithful and just, loving and compassionate. O Lord, in your mercy, forgive me and purify my heart. Amen. Source: Prayer & Possibilities Verses for Salvation “But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:8-10 NIV Prayer for Salvation Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Free & Fit - A Word of Encouragement
#GodMattersFirst Today’s Message is focused on Matthew 22: 34-40. Our world tells us that many issues matter, but we lose sight of what matters first. How we live matters. Our outlook matters. Its then so important how we view the world and how we spend our time, our energy and our efforts. God matters. God doesnt just matter, but God matters first!!! Each and everyone of us has access to God. Today I appeal to you that as we approach each day, as we view the world and as we start a new academic year lets no lose sight of what matters most. God matters first!!! We hope that this message is an encouragement to you and that you feel encouraged and uplifted by this message. I am praying that this message encourages everyone who recieves it and that they know we matter. You and I matter to the God of heaven who loves us and wants us to be a part of his Kingdom! Please watch, share and encourage as we focus and place God Matters first!!! Prayers & Blessings Tim & F&F Team “Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37, 39 NLT #sunday #wordofencouragement #freenfit

F&F Faith & Friends July - Interviews with Darian Reynolds, Joli Nagy and Roger Phillips
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-Uxgil3uDI This month we explore a number of different topics as we meet with friends in London and New York and ask them about their faith and friendship with Jesus Christ. We would love you to meet Darian, Joli and Roger as they share with us their heart, story and raw faith from this live, exclusive and unedited video of their passionate, true and encouraging stories. Darian Reynolds shares with us all about his faith journey from his College sports right up until to today and how encouraged he is through this season. Darian sites his relationship with Jesus Christ, extended downtime to listen to sermons, Hillsong Church's response in New York City to the current social unrest and support of the Black Lives Matter movement and how we can be praying, learning and growing together to get better together. Joli Nagy shares with us her experiences of her faith during the pandemic and how she overcomes challenges by walking, enjoying nature and being outside. Joli has started a brand new IGTV series on real life issues and tackles some of the most difficult issues including sex, faith and the Church. Joli is a personal trainer and shares how one of her clients now has followed her path into personal training. A great story and example of female leadership and friendship working together to serve Jesus Christ. Our true and trusted friend Roger Phillips offers us his raw, unedited and true beautiful nature through comedy, faith and encouragement. Recently Roger took up stand up comedy, praying John 3:16 at 3:16pm and listening to the Psalm via MP3 player tune in and wait to the very end of our one hour video to get some true and wonderful stories from our dear friend Roger. All our guests from this months episode pray, share their faith and offer encouragement to us and we hope you can share, follow and pray with us as well navigate through this uncertain period. We love you and are praying for you. Thank you Darian, Joli and Roger!!! Prayers & Blessings F&F Team Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
