What drives your Passion in life? Are you driven by people or prices? Power or Purpose? We all are wired differently, but can we be simply manipulated by these drives if taken in the wrong direction? Yes! Imagine selling a product or service for a company which fails to provide the correct product? Imagine providing a presentation on a service that doesn’t deliver!
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
1 Timothy 6:10 CSB
When we face opportunities we have to test and approve what is the perfect will of God. When interviewing, when inquiring and when searching ask meaningful and personal questions that help you understand a companies, persons or projects dependability. If we don’t ask, we simply don’t find out and fail to establish a clear and meaningful dialogue and then suffer greatly from not following our gut instincts.
“For he welcomed our appeal and, being very diligent, went out to you by his own choice. And not only that, but he was also appointed by the churches to accompany us with this gracious gift that we are administering for the glory of the Lord himself and to show our eagerness to help.”
2 Corinthians 8:17, 19 CSB
It may get you out of a process, job or relationship, but it may get you into the right direction and correct calling for your life. The elimination is not the end, it’s simply a road along the way that is longer and necessary to journey on when faced with decision making. It’s essential that the ironing out of your future is made on the front end and not on the back end. Have faith in the process and keeping asking questions!
“Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

The feeling of isolation and disruption can become overwhelming and we can get busy doing all the wrong things for the wrong reasons. Let’s not be misguided, let’s be diligent, patient and receptive to the process of discernment with real time and real life thinking in accordance to the Gospel. Pray, fast, listen and seek the Lord in all decisions!
Let us Pray…
Father God we seek to follow you and to become more successful at hearing from you in our discernment process. Let’s Proverbs 3:5-6 be our life verses for decision making and our purpose be revealed to us through a fresh revelation of your love. We are asking you Lord, we are seeking after you and we want to become so obedient that we don’t miss you in our minds, set us free from fear and reveal to us your good, perfect and pleasing will in Jesus name. Amen
