Todays Verses:
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints (God’s people) and apostles and prophets [who were martyred], because God has executed vengeance for you [through righteous judgment] upon her.” [Is 44:23; Jer 51:48, 49] Then a single powerful angel picked up a boulder like a great millstone and flung it into the sea, saying, “With such violence will Babylon the great city be hurled down [by the sudden, spectacular judgment of God], and will never again be found. [Jer 51:63, 64; Ezek 26:21]”
Revelation 18:20-21 AMP
“From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world]. [Ps 2:9; Is 11:4; Rev 1:16] And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, “KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.” [Deut 10:17]”

Todays Prayer & Reflection:
It’s time for us to rise up, to see the opportunity before us and cease from being corrupted by the ways of this world. We too, like Babylon, could be thrown down by one stone and just in one hour be on the wrong side of the Day of Judgement. We must not seek to uplift ourselves above others, but uplift the name of the Lord and His good purposes for His Glory and His Kingdom.
We are at a cross roads with the ways of this world constantly pulling us into negativity, confusion and chaos. We must seek to fulfill the needs of our people through prayer, petitions and the purposes that Christ Jesus created in advance for us to do. Today we have a choice to not place our trust in things of this world and to pursue the things of Heaven above.
Let us not be wavering in different directions, but instead be wise, open and obedient to the Lord. We have an opportunity to decide that God is for us, and not against us, with us and not opposed to us. We face challenges on every side and must entrust our futures, ourselves and our world to the Lord. We and all the things we seek to change belong the Lord and if we surrender them he may just use us to help Him bring His Kingdom here on this Earth as it is in Heaven! Hallelujah!
Let us Pray…
Almighty Creator and Father God we thank you that make all things new, that we can trust you and that you will bring ultimate healing to our world, our circumstances and our situations. Bring healing, bring your miraculous signs and wonders transform and renew us all in Jesus name. Amen
