Free & Fit Eastertide - Revival & Revelation - Why Jesus is Real - Revelation 5!

Today’s Word is Glory!
Today’s Movement is Stretch & Pray for 43!
Today’s Verses are from Revelation 5!
Todays Scripture:
“And I heard every created thing that is in heaven or on earth or under the earth [in Hades, the realm of the dead] or on the sea, and everything that is in them, saying [together], “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb (Christ), be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” [Dan 7:13, 14]”

Todays Prayer & Reflection:
One of my favourite ways to Praise God is giving Him Glory! Many soccer fans sing Glory, Glory….and place their soccer team’s name in place of God Almighty. It’s a mistake to replace God with idols, fake substitutions, work, leisure, sports, music bands, alternative religions, workout routines, cults or any other false God. Believe me I have done it, do it and need to repent from it daily.
Praising God is one way of giving him Glory, the other is in repentance and confession. Today, like me, perhaps you need to turn back to God after failing or falling into Sin. This is not a guilt trip or religious call to subservient human understanding. It’s an invitation to cleansing, healing and to receive forgiveness from the God who knows how. If you are seeking after God today, if you wish to return with him let’s say Psalm 51 together in all its fullness in the Amplified:
“Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt And cleanse me from my sin. For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; My sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned And done that which is evil in Your sight, So that You are justified when You speak [Your sentence] And faultless in Your judgment. [Rom 3:4] ¶I was brought forth in [a state of] wickedness; In sin my mother conceived me [and from my beginning I, too, was sinful]. [John 3:6; Rom 5:12; Eph 2:3] Behold, You desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part [of my heart] You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; Let the bones which You have broken rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins And blot out all my iniquities. ¶Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted and return to You. ¶Rescue me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation; Then my tongue will sing joyfully of Your righteousness and Your justice. O Lord, open my lips, That my mouth may declare Your praise. For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22] My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise. ¶By Your favor do good to Zion; May You rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, In burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then young bulls will be offered on Your altar.”

Let us Pray to the Lord our God an old Wesleyan prayer which draws us closer to Him consciously understanding we are forgiven and are actively being healed:
A prayer of confession from (adapted) John Wesley (1703 - 1791).
Forgive us all, O Lord:
our sins of omission and our sins of commission;
the sins of our youth and the sins of our riper years;
the sins of our souls and the sins of our bodies;
our secret and our more open sins;
our sins of ignorance and surprise, and our more deliberate and presumptuous sins;
the sins we have done to please ourselves
and the sins we have done to please others;
the sins we know and remember,
and the sins we have forgotten;
the sins we have striven to hide from others
and the sins by which we have made others offend;
forgive us, O Lord, forgive us all for your sake,
For you who died for our sins and rose for our justification,
and you who now stands at thy right hand to make intercession for us,
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
As we enter into the rest of our day lets us do so with a repentant and a truly convicted heart changed from the inside out to live for Jesus Christ.
A prayer for us Today:
Lord help us as we seek after you. Be our ever present help in times of trouble and our guide, counsellor and strength Holy Spirit. Comfort as we mourn our old way of life and protect as we seek to live out our new life for you Jesus. In your Holy and Precious name do we pray. In Jesus name. Amen
Todays Scripture:
For who has known the mind and purposes of the Lord, so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes]. [Is 40:13]”
