“Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Be aware that the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested [in your faith], and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful to the point of death [if you must die for your faith], and I will give you the crown [consisting] of life. [Rev 3:10, 11] ‘I know your deeds, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your last deeds are more numerous and greater than the first. I gave her time to repent [to change her inner self and her sinful way of thinking], but she has no desire to repent of her immorality and refuses to do so.”

Today’s Prayer & Reflection:
The testing of our faith is real in today’s society. We face a constant onslaught of challenges to focus our energy and attention on God because of social media, digital communication and the multiple news feeds on our phones and tv screens. We have become an anxious, fearful and overly sensitive society that seems unable to sense or see God in daily living. We have to make contrasting daily decisions to be able to make different choices and outcomes possible in our lives today.
“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, But a good (encouraging) word makes it glad. [Ps 50:4; Prov 15:13]”
Proverbs 12:25 AMP
Reading your Bible daily is not a test, it’s a life giving and blessed reassurance in a world which steels our joy. As John 10:10 tells us the devil comes to kill and destroy, Christ came to grant us life and life abundantly. We must pursue Gods word, seek him first and today of all days, on national day of prayer, pray to be with Him our Great Lord of Lord and King of Kings on a daily basis.
“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”
John 10:10 AMP
Today on this National Day of Prayer let’s pause at 11:15am EST to pray, to be still and to know that he is God. This prayer is for our nation, it is for our Churches, it is for our people and it’s also, most importantly, for you. It’s to help you find peace, to interrupt the chaos and confusion and it’s to build you up as you seek peace and pursue it. Today with a different out look it is possible in this, our world, we can experience a much more positive, beautiful and peaceful way to live through prayer.
Prayer for Today…
Please Lord be with us Today, helping us to seek peace and pursue it, to find your face and rest a little while as we sit with you. Help us dear Father God to become more like you, less like our world and more like the humble servant your Son Jesus Christ. Help us today and everyday in everything we do in Jesus name. Amen

Prayer for Salvation
Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name. Amen
