His face was like the sun, his legs were like pillars of fire, and he held a little scroll opened in his hand. He put his right foot on the sea, his left on the land, and he called out with a loud voice like a roaring lion. When he cried out, the seven thunders raised their voices.”

Today’s Prayer & Reflection:
Today is Ascension Day and we look to the Heavens always as we await Christs second coming. If we only would behave as the hour were coming today, and not in a distant future, we may have the same reverence and awe of God as the early Church. The same reverence as to surrender our lives, to sacrifice all things and pick up our Cross and follow Jesus Christ on a daily basis not just a Sunday morning.
“After he had said this, he was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took him out of their sight. While he was going, they were gazing into heaven, and suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen him going into heaven.”
Acts 1:9-11 CSB
Today’s readings from Revelation remind us of the welcome of Christ, the awe at Who He is and the identity of Christ as the Lion and the Lamb, the Alpha and the Omega and the Beginning and the End. The now and not yet. Christ is coming back and we must be ready as if it were coming today and not tomorrow. If we wait for the unexpected then we may not be ready, but if we live as if we expect Him everyday we may live as if we were always on purpose, mission and living each and everyday for Him.
“He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens far above every ruler and authority, power and dominion, and every title given, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And he subjected everything under his feet, and appointed him as head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.”
Ephesians 1:20-23 CSB
Not only in this age, but in the age to come! We have to come to the active choice and conclusion that God works in “Koiros” which is a concept of time that embodies all of the past, present and future time as one. Living in Koiros means living in the Revelation of us (all humanity) being a Resurrected people whom are called to live out a call with immediacy, intimacy and inclusion with the Father and an obedience with willingness to go into places where even William Shatner would not go. This is beyond the space and time continuum and flux capacitor of Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown and more of an all encompassing time span which means we believe and live within the reality of time and space, but live in a supernatural concept of time where that anything is possible at anytime, all the time and every time in Jesus name! Amen.
Let’s not give up Hope today. Let’s share it, not consume it, distribute it and not hold onto it and let’s share Gods Love unconditionally as it’s not to be held solo, but given to each and everyone of without condition or because of us and not just received from God, but shone from God into every person, nation and culture. Let’s go and be the Light and Salvation to all the world in Jesus name. Amen
Let us Pray…
Father God we thank you for showing up in our lives when we don’t deserve it and can’t comprehend it. Be a Light into our hearts shining directly into our lives so that we can see the inner parts of ourselves that need to be changed and transformed from the inside out. Be our Light. Be our Salvation. Be our Peace in Jesus name. Amen
